Pay Before Eid Prayer. Feed Someone on Eid.

Every Muslim who has enough for themselves and their family must give Zakat al-Fitr, on their own behalf and for those dependent on them.

It is paid before the Eid prayer, as a fixed amount per person, so those struggling can also join in on Eid celebrations, as one Ummah.

Zakat al-Fitr completes the fast and ensures families in need aren’t left hungry while others celebrate.

MTJF uses it to provide food to families facing daily hunger, in both remote villages and crowded urban areas.

Ibn Abbas (RA) said:
“The Messenger of Allah made Zakat al-Fitr compulsory to cleanse the fasting person and provide food for the poor.”

This Eid, let your Zakat al-Fitr bring dignity, full plates, and relief to a family in need, so Eid is a day of joy, not hunger.
